CALL FOR PAPERS
Volume 7, No. 1, January - December 2025
The Editorial Scientific Committee of the Revista de Comunicación Política informs the national and international scientific community about the open call for the submission of unpublished works for its upcoming continuous publication, corresponding to Volume 7, Issue 1 for the period January - December 2025.
Comunicación Política is a continuous publication journal, edited by the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico. Its mission is to promote scientific dissemination, the exchange of ideas, reflection, and research in the field of political communication. The journal focuses on the political reality of Latin America and the world, serving as a reference for the analysis and understanding of communicative phenomena in the political sphere.
Currently, the journal is indexed in well-known bibliographic portals, including Dialnet and Latindex. It is also listed in the Directory of Open Access Scientific and University Resources (Road), the prominent research database Dimensions, and the recognized academic search engine Google Scholar. This backing across various platforms consolidates the visibility and accessibility of the published articles, strengthening the dissemination of research in the field of political communication.
OBJECTIVE
To promote the analysis and dissemination of innovative and relevant research in the field of political communication, enriching academic knowledge, fostering the exchange of ideas, and contributing to the theoretical and practical development of the discipline.

TYPES OF ARTICLES ACCEPTED
Authors may submit two types of articles to Revista de Comunicación Política: Original research results from scientific and technological projects and literature reviews. (https://rcp.uanl.mx/index.php/rcp/about/submissions)
- Scientific and Technological Research Articles: Documents presenting in detail the original results of completed research projects. The structure includes title, abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion, conclusions, and references.
- Review Articles: Documents resulting from research that analyze, systematize, and integrate findings from published or unpublished research on a field in science and technology, aiming to report on advances and development trends. These articles are characterized by a thorough literature review.
INSTRUCTIONS AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
To submit correctly, please consult the editorial guidelines for submitting original works to the Revista de Comunicación Política, attached to this call (https://rcp.uanl.mx/index.php/rcp/convocatorias).
Articles can be written in either Spanish or English and will undergo double-blind peer review. Submissions should be made through the journal’s portal at the following link: https://rcp.uanl.mx/index.php/rcp/login. Please note that no other submission method will be accepted.
